Virtus Pro's DotA divison was once considered the best in the world, which included Vigoss, ARS-ART, NS, LighTofHeaveN, Jolie, and M.Admiration at different points of time. They are most notable for winning MYM Prime Defending three times in a row.

Virtus Pro announced their entrance to the Dota 2 scene with the recruitment of Russian veteran NS and longtime German starKuroKy. They also later added on Santa, Azen and finally Dread as captain. However, before the qualifier matches for The International 2012, Dread and Azen were removed from the team and KuroKy later left of his own accord.

In September 2012, Virtus Pro picked up KSi, Crazy, and Illidan to fill out the empty slots in their roster. They also picked up an all-female team.

In March 2013, Santa left the team. Later that month, ARS-ART was announced as a replacement.

DK was set up in 2010 with a roster including Chinese rising stars rOtk, Yueru and LaNm, participating in WDC and SMM that year, they did not achieve much results. DK started the great Chinese reshuffle in 2011 when they offered cash to BurNIng andKingJ of EHOME, while obtaining Nirvana's PIS and LGD's Sharingan later on. Undoubtedly the "Galacticos" of the DotA scene, DK failed to live up to expectations. Ksssssss, the only remaining member of the original team, was replaced by the returning rOtk from Tyloo later on. Continuous sub-par performances led to PIS' retirement, KingJ's transfer to Nirvana and Sharingan's move to PanDa. DK's captain, BurNIng, immediately called upon old teammate and friend LongDD alongside Zippo and Yueru. DK had suddenly become a strong team after these replacements. First winning the ACG Chinese qualifier, DK continued to roll on winning 7 tournaments to date including the highly touted World DotA Championship and G-League's Sesason 2. However, they only achieved a top 8 finish in SMM 2011 after getting knocked out by LGD.

In March 2012, DK began playing Dota 2. They were the first team to announce their invitation to The International 2012.

In October 2012, Dai and 357 from EHOME joined, replacing LongDD and Zippo.

In January 2013, RoX.KIS picked-up their first Dota 2 squad Chlamydia psittaci consisting of BzzIsPerfect, STALIANER, hardEEv-, yol, Sedoy.

In March 2013, Rox.KIS and 3D!Clan began to exchange players between them. Firstly, STALIANER and Sedoy left the team to replace Sharfik and ServAAA from 3D!Clan. A few days later, Sharfik joined RoX.KIS and Dread followed him. The changes did not stop there and after just 10 days, Sharfik left the team and was quickly replaced by Solo.

Later in March, after playing as a stand-in for a few days, VANSKOR replaced hardEEv- as the hard support role.

StarLadder TV has announced the immediate ban of roX.KIS after Aleksey 'Solo has been caught betting against his own team for the Star Series match against zRage - roX.KIS lost the game after a suspiciously horrible performance.

According to SLTV, Solo has put a bet for 100$ on the eSport betting site egamingbets.com. He has won 322$ for losing. Proofs have been posted in their news.

The result of the match had no influence of the outcome of the sixth StarSeries season. It's quite common to not play completely serious in such matches. roX.KIS however has been feeding on purpose to lose the game and win money of it. That means not only Solo himself has to be punished for cheating, but the whole team. That includes Stanislav 'BzzIsPerfect'

Glushan, Vladimir 'Yol' Basov, Andrey 'Dread' Golubev, and the stand-in 'dnq'. Ivan 'Vanskor' Skorokhod has not been actively involved.

StarLadder has announced the following preliminary punishments:
Solo has been banned from all StarLadder competition for lifetime
BzzIsPerfect, Yol, Dread, and dnq have been banned for 3 years
The organisation roX.KIS has been banned for one year.

Details are yet subject to change, as SLTV is in contact with roX.KIS to discuss the matter.

joinDOTA is supporting StarLadder's decision completely. Actions like this are unacceptable in any kind of sports. Therefore it's planned to extend the ban to all competitions organized by joinDOTA - including The Defense, Bigpoint Battle, Eizo Cup, jD Masters and more. A final decision will be made after all details are sorted out.
